I woke up this morning to another sunny day, blue skies, birds singing, and a light breeze blowing through our windows. I had plans to cuddle with Cymone while she slowly awoke, and then bike to work. It sounds blissful, doesn't it?
The only thing I could think of to top off my perfect morning was to make a healthy, invigorating smoothie. So, I made one with matcha. It most definitely helped boost my energy on this increasingly hot day!
Creamy Matcha Almond Smoothie
1 C. yogurt
1 C. raw almond milk
1/4 C. honey
2 Tbsp matcha powder
Blend all ingredients until smooth. This smoothie also tastes delicious if you add a handful of blueberries.
